Summer in Provence

It may be officially the first day of fall, however summer is just getting started for those of us in the Bay Area! Tomatoes, eggplant, figs, beans and squash are overflowing at the markets. Summer in the Provencal region of France features these same delicious ingredients, so celebrate the warm weather by learning how to cook a Provencal feast. We will share the meal together afterwards outside in the yard.

Dishes we will prepare:

  • 2Caramelized Onion and Goat Cheese Soufflé
  • Provencal-Stuffed Eggplant
  • Wild Salmon Nicoise with Sweet Tomatoes, Beans and Potatoes
  • Summer Fruit Croustade with Vanilla Chantilly

*Occasionally classes may end later; depending on what time we are finished cooking and eating.

Cost: $100, Hands-on class. Price includes all ingredients, equipment, a full meal and a wine tasting at lunch

Location: a private home in Oakland. You will receive a confirmation email with the address after registering for the class.
