Early Autumn in Tuscany

Everybody loves to eat Italian food. One of the great things about cooking the cuisine of Tuscany in particular is that it combines simple techniques with bold flavors.  Enjoy a day of flavorful and fun Italian cooking as we move into the flavors of fall and prepare a traditional Tuscan meal together. We will share the meal together afterwards outside in the yard. Mangi!

 

Dishes you will learn:

  • Risotto with raddichioMinestrone with Lacinato Kale and Chickpeas
  • Fennel and Rosemary-Stuffed Pork Loin
  • Risotto with Radicchio and Parmesan Reggiano
  • Almond Cornmeal Torte

*Occasionally classes may end later; depending on what time we are finished cooking and eating.

Cost: $100, Hands-on class. Price includes all ingredients, equipment, a full meal and a wine tasting at lunch. Classes limited to 8 students.

Location: a private home in Oakland. You will receive a confirmation email with the address after registering for the class.
